Karin Serafin, born and raised in Florianópolis, studied piano, choral singing, ballet, and jazz. She graduated in visual arts at UDESC and fashion consulting at SENAC. 

She has been a dancer for 30 years, and together with Alejandro has been part of Grupo Cena 11 since its foundation, participating in all of the company's works.

With Renato Turnes she started her research as a creative interpreter, together they developed the works: "Eu faço uma dança que a minha mãe odeia" and Parte da paisagem".

She is interested in fashion, urban culture, digital culture, pop culture, dance and contemporary art, and is also interested in elegance, coherence, honesty and commitment.
