LAVÍNIA PANNUZIO

Actress since 1980, always in consonance with relevant directors of the Brazilian theater scene. Since 2005 she also works as a director, keeping the perspective of experiments from the work of important contemporary theater authors and writers. In 2020 she premiered ELIZABETH COSTELLO, a transcription and direction by Leonardo Ventura, from the Nobel Prize for Literature winner JM Coetzee;

She was twice nominated for the Aplauso Brasil Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2017 and the Shell Award for Best Actress in 2011. She was nominated for the Mambembe Award for Best Actress in 1997 and for the Mambembe Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1995. She received the Shell Award for Best Actress in 2012 and the APCA Award for Best Actress in 2011. 

As a director, for her adaptation of Once Upon a Time on the River, by Martha Pannunzio, she received in 2006 the APCA Award for Best Play and the Coca-Cola FEMSA Award for Best Play and Best Direction, besides the nomination for Best Playwriting.
