ALINE MOHAMAD

Aline Mohamad is a theater curator, playwright, and cultural producer with a 25-year career in the performing arts. Among her most notable works as a creator are "JORGE pra sempre VERÃO", written in partnership with Diego Mesquita and directed by Rodrigo França, and "O Encontro – Malcolm X e Martin Luther King Jr.", with text by Jeff Stetson and directed by Isaac Bernat. Aline was also responsible for "Ocupação Ovárias", nominated for the Shell Theater Award in the Innovation category for promoting the aesthetic-political protagonism of women in the Rio de Janeiro theater scene, as well as "Eu, Moby Dick", winner of awards such as the Cesgranrio Theater Award and the Cenym Award. As a production director, Aline has been in charge of shows directed by names such as Lázaro Ramos ("A Menina Edith e a Velha Sentada"), Isaac Bernat ("Calango Deu! Os Causos da Dona Zaninha"), and Rodrigo França ("Angu"), among many others. His expertise also extends to the executive production of acclaimed productions such as "Caranguejo Overdrive", by Marco André Nunes, "Vaga Carne", by Grace Passô, and "Isto é um negro?", by Tarina Quelho.
