Proposal
Patriarchy works on everyone in a sophisticated way. Subtle and violent, it always acts, as it is systemic. From the moment we use feminisms as a filter for life, we are able to reveal everyday machismo, identify and name it. And, from the moment we name it, we manage to act on it and subvert it. This is the proposal of the Atreva-se Movement as a feminist collective and also for this course.
The idea is to understand what this filter is and how we can use it as a feminist tool in photos and diaries/texts written in first person - records that we make among so many other routine activities that are often overlooked (including, we will speak of this “lack of attention” to the content created by women as being one more, among many, traps created by patriarchy).
Using this filter is a way to reframe our look at our own intellectual productions, giving other contours and understandings to our own life - a life less tied to the limits and oppressions of patriarchy.
Through photos and texts, we want to reveal how patriarchy and capitalism act systematically in our daily lives, making men and women perform and play preconceived roles so that this same gear (of capital) continues to live. The idea of this course is to politicize the personnel and, in this way, subvert our view.
HOW WILL IT WORK
5 meetings of two hours each
Between June 20th and July 18th
On Saturdays, from 10 am to 12 pm
Open meeting on June 16, at 7 pm, for those who want to better understand the course and talk to the Atreva-se Movement (follow the social networks to receive the link to the virtual room)

Day 1 (June 20)
Reflecting and talking about how feminisms are a subversive filter for life.
Day 2 (June 27)
About the importance of records, whether images or writings, in our daily lives and how they can also be a tool for self-knowledge and feminist struggle
Day 3 (July 4)
Working this filter in practice and in life: from the photographic and textual records that people who participate in the group will bring to the meetings, we will talk and understand how feminisms act and subvert our gaze.
Day 4 (July 11)
Continuation of the previous meeting.
5th (July 18th)
Exchange and registration day on social networks. Images and texts produced at the meetings will be published on social networks and on the Movimento Dare-se website.
