Jéssica Teixeira is a multidisciplinary artist with a degree in Theater Education (2013) and a Master’s in Arts from the Federal University of Ceará (2018). She uses her unusual body as the primary material for her dramaturgical and scenic investigation, which led to the creation of her first solo piece, E.L.A (2019), currently touring nationally and internationally.

In 2024, she is preparing to premiere her second solo piece, MONGA, where she aims to continue exploring the reflections and estrangements between the audience’s body and her own performing body.

In film and audiovisual media, she has appeared as an actress in the short films Partindo do princípio de que a Terra é plana, sou toda curva e desvio (2023), Possa Poder (2022), and Curva Sinuosa (2021), in the feature film Assexybilidade (2023), and in the series Os Outros (2023).
